Okay. So I was wondering if it is possible to strip the raspberry pi of all its connectors and then put it in a case and attach a touchscreen. I am also wondering if there are any operating systems out there for the pi that resemble android. if not ubuntu is fine. any idea how I can do this? I saw a guy kinda do this for a gameboy thing in another post. thanks in advance! :D

I'm not sure about taking off the connectors...I was having a similar brainstorm like this a few months ago. I think it's a great idea.

I would try Ubuntu Touch for an OS. Do your research and run with this idea!!

About stripping the connectors...Pis are cheap, so if you take off the plugs and it dies, you're not out much, but you have the knowledge of what will happen and you also get some unsoldering experience. However, I'm not saying it'll kill the Pi. Try it and see. Or see if someone else has tried it and use their advice.

Have fun! :D

Anyone have any ideas for the touchscreen? I have found it is very hard to find one. 7 inches is preferred size.
