Hello, sorry am a complete novice. I have a Raspberry Pi 4b which will not connect to/recognise a Universal Cloning Wireless Remote Control Key Fob for Car Garage Door Gate Fixed code 433mhz. Further described as: A fixed-frequency remote clone (433.92mhz) for copying 99.99% of the common fixed and learning code remotes.
Is it possible to connect to any key fob which would be used to remotely turn Pi 4b on/off for example?

That would be a bad way to do it. Suddenly dropping power on running system will--sooner or later--give you a corrupted file system. Better to attach the receiver to the Pi and have the signal cause a system shutdown.
