Mausberry seems to have gone out of business so you'll have to design your own.

That doesn't work in a car, because the primary power drops when you switch off the ignition. So you need a battery or a super cap and a current detecting circuit to trigger a shutdown (through a GPIO pin) before the battery or super cap goes dead.

My experience with Mausberry 2A car power supply:
I had bought Mausberry 2A car ingnition switch and it gone up in smoke. I test fitted my CarPC in my car, and tried everything with working engine. And then .... smoke...

Transistor that switches power on and off has gone up in smoke and I dont know why.
Mausberry responded very quickly to my e-mail and was sorry for my problem so they send me a new switch in 3days. I received it after only 6 days (From USA to Slovenia).
I am very pleased with their service and customer support, but I am a bit worried that it will blow up again, because I think the components are a bit weak... :|
