Raspberry Pi case from MarcoAlici

Mon Jul 02, 2012 9:02 am

This is the case everyone is talking about! ;)

Features:
  • 3D-printed by Shapeways;
  • snap-fit fixing system for the board, easy to mount/unmount;
  • snap-fit closing system, no screw required;
  • bottom holes for blocking the computer by screws (sliding mount);
  • led lightguides (available as separate part);
  • pre-shaped hole for GPIO access: just cut it out to open.
  • different colours available
The model has been tested on real boards and fits very well.
It is available on Shapeways at the following links.

There are similar-ish cases available in the UK for 1/4 of the price.

It looks like a really nice case - am I alone in thinking that thirty-seven euros / forty-six dollars is a ridiculously high price?

Obviously you haven't seen the Pi-Stack :lol: :lol: :lol: (which isn't actually a registered trademark as their spiel suggests :roll: )
