Hi RPi Community,
I'm currently volunteering for a new group that is based in Australia with a focus on improving education in robotics for students.
We are currently looking for applicants for our latest event - the 72 hour self-driving car challenge - where you build a FULL SCALE self-driving car.
This event will have 25-30 people building 5 full scale self-driving cars that will be able to navigate our track at our testing site in Queensland Australia. This is the second time we have run this challenge. The last time we ran it, we built two cars.
We already have applications from over 90 people from all around the world, including America, Australia and Europe. These people have backgrounds in software, engineering, mechatronics and robotics. They come from a variety of companies and universities that include: The University of Sydney, The University of Melbourne, The University of Queensland, The University of NSW, Queensland University of Technology, Sydney University of Technology, Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR), CSIRO and more.
If you are interested, you can apply here: https://www.theroboticsclub.org/trc-201 ... nge-apply/ . Applications are closing on Feb 2 (Australian Time).
