Help with Redsleeve Linux!

Sun Feb 02, 2014 6:30 am

Hello Raspberry Pi Community!!
(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I just thought it would go here!)

I am asking for your help because I cant seem to figure out the Redsleeve OS for the Raspberry Pi. I can log into the root just fine but when I try connecting to the internet to use commands such as yum or other commands, it gives me an error:

(Sorry for bad quality, Recorded with my dinky little iPhone)

Can someone please help me?
Ive looked up on google to try to get help but all it comes up with is something
about lmod and messing around with the config files. (This is a completely new thing to me)

Have you checked what ethtool says? Does that detect the connection? Have you tried it with a different distro? Have you copied your kernel's /lib/modules and /lib/firmware to your RS rootfs? If it's a RS specific problem, I suggest you ask over on the RS mailing list.
