Thinlinc foresees in html5 compatibility via a web browser.
This is ... from a certain version of browser and upwards.
Typically in a small installation simply connect to the thinlinc server at port 300.
If the PI supports one of those browsers I guess your problem is rather well solved with a minimum of effort.

You have to verify though if the connection via web is by default enabled ... don't know anymore if I had to enable that feature. But it works like a charm! The latency in display is low. Have to say though that I have not yet used it for video streaming (youtube things) as I use it for less media purposes.
