Unlikely, and probably not worth even trying. Raspbian may have Gnome 3.4 available (I haven't checked), but as Gnome 3 relies very heavily on either a compatible full hardware accelerated video driver, or as a fall-back, a seriously CPU intensive software driven video driver - neither of which are available for the Pi and lots of memory - if it could even be got to work, it would be at a crawl.Xenon wrote:Any GNOME 3.6 distros out there????
I can't even run a full Gnome 3 system on my P4 1.6GHz system with a slightly old video card.
Gnome 3 seems to be designed to use only the latest PC hardware where the cooling fan on the graphics card uses more power than the Pi does in total
