Physical Button to Switch OS - - Help

I'm looking for a way to switch OS from Retropie to raspberrian with the press of a physical button. Then back to retropie with the same button
I currently have both OS's installed on berryboot.
-Full Story-
I'm building your run of the mill retropie arcade in a cabinet.
BUT I want to also have that cabinet function as a photobooth.
So, by default berryboot will load retropie. and the user can play games. OR at any point the user can press a physical button that stops retropie and boots raspberrian with will be overridden to actually just load the photobooth and with button(s) the user can take 3 pictures that will automatically print on HP Sprocket printer. (there are a ton of tutorials on this)
Then, when picture time is done the same button switches the user back to retropie
Is this possible? How?
