All ports become very hot on Kali Linux

Sat Jun 15, 2019 3:53 pm

Some days ago i installed in the raspberry pi model 3B+ Kali Linux (the one specifically built for raspberry pi), i don't know why (and if this is a normal problem or not) but every single port (HDMI, USB and the Power Cable) become very hot, how can i fix this (if this is a problem)? Also the CPU temperature when i used Raspbian was around 55°C now it is 68°C (i know that Kali Linux needs far more computing than Raspbian but this seems to me a lot more than it should be).

68°C is not excessively hot for a Pi 3B+, but the CPUs may run slower at that temperature. The temperature limit is 85°C. It is expected that the ports will become warm as they are used as part of the thermal management on the 3B+, excess heat is channelled through the board to the metalwork of the ports.

Hi,
Kali linux needs more computing than Raspbian, you can use fan or radiator to fix this problem.
