How to skip initial network setup(ubuntu core)?

Thu Jan 17, 2019 10:03 pm

I am trying to run raspberry pi with ubuntu core and want to skip the initial network setup.
I don't use network and not going to use.

How can I skip the setup? or Can I type some dummy inputs to skip it?

systemctl disable networking.service
systemctl mask networking.service

is suppose to be all that is needed but your mileage may vary.

When I turn on the pi, Ubuntu Core force me directly to the network setup. I can't find the way to type the command lines.

Why not switch to Raspbian which behaves in the way you want and allows lots of control over networking.

Maybe it would be best to approach the Ubuntu Developers as I am sure they support their software:

My other Computer is an Asus CS10 ChromeBit running Chrome Operating System.
HP Envy 4500 Wireless Printer supported by HPLIP software in Raspbian Stretch.
