Using more than 1 core on the QEMU VM?

Thu May 17, 2018 11:48 pm

Hello there,

Just wondering if there is a way to force
the QEMU x86 VM to operate on more than
one core on the Raspberry Pi... :? If it is
running on only one core, even some of the
first windows versions are slow and laggy. :( :x

:!: If you need the QEMU documentation, it is
avalible for viewing here: https://qemu.weilnetz.de/doc/qemu-doc.html

Anyways, I accept any help I can get.
Thanks! :)

The way to do it is:

qemu-system-i386 -drive file=OS.img,media=disk -smp NumberOfCores

Hope it helps!
