rpi3, 64bit, aarch64, uboot, linux kernel 4.8/4.9

Hi all,

I'm trying to use U-Boot and a new Linux kernel 4.8 or 4.9 in 64bit mode on the Raspberry Pi 3B.
So far I'm able to compile latest mainline U-Boot v2017.01-rc3 and it's already running on my Pi 3.

Compiling a 64bit/aarch64 Linux kernel is also done, but I'm not able to boot it through U-Boot. Maybe I'm missing some special uboot scripts or settings to jump to the new kernel. If I'm using an older 4.5 kernel, the boot process is working well. More details can be found in an issue I created on GitHub. https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1788

Maybe someone have a deeper knowledge into configuring U-Boot with the latest Linux kernel 4.8/4.9 and can give me some help or pointers!

Thanks,
Dieter
