gcc version 4.9.2 (Raspbian 4.9.2-10)
I have build avr-gcc before (in november i think) , but it was on an old Raspi (512k single core) Raspbian wheezy

Update

GMP is building ok on an old Raspi (512K)

This might be a configure issue.

I tried to get gmp-6.1.0 on the Raspi3 , and build it.
just a ./configure && make

But my Raspi3 stopped responding (crashed) during build , and it's 140km away :(

Hi!
Have you ever solved this?
I'm having the same issue but there's no info about it.
