I got my RPi Zero today and managed to install Kali (kali-2.1-rpi.img) on my device, however even with updating the firmware I can't get a HDMI output from my Zero. Steps that I've done:
1. Flashed https://images.offensive-security.com/a ... rpi.img.xz to my microSD Card using Win32DiskImager.
2. Connected my microSD Card to my RPi 3 running Raspbian and ran the follwing commands:
3. The update went successful, so I took out the microSD Card and put it in my RPi Zero.
Code: Select all
sudo fdisk -l sudo mkdir /media/HDD1 sudo mkdir /media/HDD2 sudo chmod 777 /media/HDD1 sudo chmod 777 /media/HDD2 sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/HDD1 sudo mount /dev/sda2 /media/HDD2 sudo ROOT_PATH=/media/HDD2 BOOT_PATH=/media/HDD1 rpi-update
It seems that the Zero boots up as the lights on it flash and my WiFi Dongle connected to it also starts flashing. However I do not get any signal on my monitor connected to it and since I don't have ethernet access to my Zero, I can't even ssh into it. So I'm stuck.
P.S: Raspbian works flawlessly on my Zero which I've tried it using the same micorSD Card. So no HDMI/microSD Card problem.
