It is a fork of Ubuntu x86-32 / x86-64 so you should be able to compile a version suitable for the RPi 2B yourself, good luck...MartinPi wrote:Is it possible?

Your right but i doubt there will be a release stabe enough for general use, too much bloat and its just in general resource hungry, but i guess most of the resources lay within ubuntu mate, as a developer myself i wouldnt even bother, mught aswell compile your own build and start from scratchmahjongg wrote:Rattus is right, its just another ubuntu roll-out. Ubuntu has failed to make any impact on the PI, and even on a 2B adding more "bling" is just counterproductive.
