How to open Raspberry config in Ubuntu Maze

Fri Aug 07, 2015 2:06 pm

Hi, I just bought a Raspberry Pi 2 and I have some problem
I installed Rasbian OS, at first there have a task to config some thing like timezone, religion,.. and enable the SSH.
I forgot to enable the SSH and now I don't know how to open it again
Now my raspberry is running Ubuntu Maze
Can you help me to how enable SSH, pls :D

1. There is no way to configure "religion" on a RPi.

2. ssh is enabled by default when you install Raspbian. However whether you had ssh enabled or not in Raspbian is irrelevant. Ubuntu knows nothing about what you configure in Raspbian and vice versa. Timezone, keyboard etc all need to be done again.

3. I have never heard of "Ubuntu Maze" as an OS and Google isn't helping. So I guess you have some version of Ubuntu on your RPi and Maze is a deskop or something.

An obvious typo for "region".

Although, when you get down to it, there *should* be a way to set the religion. All things have religion, right?

It is reasonable to assume that OP was asking if it is possible to *fix* his SD card via the mechanism of mounting it on his Ubuntu machine and editing files on the card.

An obvious typo for "Mate".

Although, every time I see someone refer to "Ubuntu Mate", my mind tells me that there should be a comma between those two words.
And some folks need to stop being fanboys and see the forest behind the trees.

(One of the best lines I've seen on this board lately)

if by "config" you mean placing a new version of NOOBS on the card, then yes you can.
https://www.raspberrypi.org/help/noobs-setup/

start by using Raspbian, Ubuntu Mate for PI is NOT for beginners.

After you installed Raspbian, SSH will become enabled by default, no need to change config.txt for that.
