Fred,

I just overcame the exact same issue a few minutes ago by editing the config.txt file (on the BerryBoot installer on the SD card) to include the following line:

Code: Select all

hdmi_force_hotplug=1
As found here: http://elinux.org/RPiconfig

You could also try:

Code: Select all

hdmi_safe=1
Hope that helps.

Hi, After further investigation the config file is ok the pi boots into comp vid. I have connected a comp vid monitor and successfully installed berry boot. I have gone into /boot/config.txt and added hdmi_force_hotplug=1 and hdmi_drive=2 Do a reboot and it works with hdmi. But closing down killing the power and rpowering up it boots back into comp vid any clues

Hello,

Unfortunately, my knowledge is very limited so am unsure what else to suggest aside from trying a few other configurations in config.txt

I hope someone else can provide you with more help, and that you are able to resolve the problem.

Cheers
