Swedisk keyboard layout

Mon Sep 22, 2014 1:29 pm

Hi guys!

I'm new to risc os but eager to learn. Right now I'd appreciate some help getting my proper (Swedish) keyboard layout working. Any hint appreciated. Thanks beforehand!

Kind greetings,

sudo raspi-config
There's an "internationalisation" option in raspi-config that will a) let you set the keyboard layout b) let you switch from UTC to CEST and c) generate the locales you need for all those diacritical national characters.

Ooops. Didn't spot it was a post in this hidden dark corner of the forum.
I wish phpBB3 had a way to ignore forums (like the friend/foes settings for users/lusers), there's a few that I really am not interested is seeing on the "newpost" search that I use.

I don't know if this http://dcoj.wmh3.com/geekstuff/pisu/5.html helps our Swedish correspondent?

I booted a Raspberry Pi with RiscOS for ten minutes, once. Then discovered that it didn't have any WiFi support (at that time) so gave up and switched back to Raspbian/Gnu Linux.

Hi again guys!

Thanks for your willingness to help out. I had in the back of my mind seeing icon for the keyboard in config but since my screen (the telly) is occupied mostly it's kind of hard to try out things that pop up in your head. I'll go for it when MY SCREEN is free for use. Actually Risc OS is running so I just have to change to the right hdmi channel. Thanks again!

Have fun with Risc OS,

Of course you can also do this from the CLI (F12 or Ctrl-F2 for the multi tasking version):

*help keyboard
==> Help on keyword Keyboard
*Keyboard with no parameter displays the currently selected keyboard.
Type *Countries to list available countries.

Syntax: *Keyboard [<country name>]*

Return to “RISCOS”
