New RISC OS SD card image

The current RISC OS SD card image (RC11) has been updated to RC12. At present this is available for purchase on an SD card from RISC OS Open Ltd. (released at the South West Show on 1st March 2014) and will soon ('soon' is undefined) be available from the Raspberry Pi Foundation download site. This includes an updated version of the browser !NetSurf (version 3) plus an integrated word processor, spreadsheet, database and charts package (!PipeDream) and a new diversion !Meteors. Also networking is enabled by default so that the machine starts up with a full desktop, working networking (if you have a network cable plugged in!) and a lot of useful software.

Can you please advise where the RC12 is? I looked under downloads but see only RC11?

(And as you can see from my other post - RC11 seems to be problematic for me, as it does not work properly after doing an initial update).

There is the beta download from here https://www.riscosopen.org/content/down ... r-zipfiles and As Steve says the release version is only available by purchasing the SD card for the moment from https://www.riscosopen.org/content/sales/risc-os-pi

There's a beta RC12 rom available from this page (but it's tricky to install - not one for noobs I'd say):

Thank you. I will try the beta now, as the two other (non beta?) versions I have tried did not work at all (see my other post).

Lets see what happens when I put the beta image on my SD card: it would be nice to see a (somewhat) more functional RiscOS

Download done: you are right - that does not seem to be an img file...

So I think I am best off just to wait for the proper image to be released....
