I have downloaded !Beebit placed this on to my memory stick and then transfered to my RISC OS Pi, and unable to run the application for the following reasons.

The !Beebit icon is the same as !Store that's on the RISC OS desktop, inside the !Beebit application there are the following files, !Boot, !Help, !Run, !RunImage, !Sprites !Sprites22 all of these appear as text files, the !RunImage file when you view this using !Edit you get the following type text.

[00][00] a[00] a[00]c[00][00] etc

Why is this happening? Have I downloaded to correct version or is it because of the current version of RISC OS on the Pi?

What other options are there and is anyone else using a BBC Emulator on the Pi?

Sounds like you've unzipped the archive on a PC or similar and thereby lost all the filetype data. You need to take the archive right into Risc OS and unzip it there using Spark or SparkPlug.

I have placed the zip files directly onto my USB memory stick and then unzipped them using !SparkFS.

Double clicking on !BeebIt the Icon then appears on the right side of the Icon Bar, when I click on this Icon I get the following error message.

Unable to load Operating System ROM

The ROMs directory inside the !BeebIt application is empty, where can I get the correct ROMs to place inside?

I have now found the correct ROMs, when !BeebIt application is up and running and you type

*free
*info
*cat

I then get the following error message "Disk fault 1E at 00/00" how can I correct this, guess it's because when running !BeebIt it can't find disc drive?
