hi sorry if this has been posted before I am new to the forum and raspberry pi downloaded riscos and tried to get onto the net but I am at a loss on how to do it with wifi, any help would be most greatfull thanking you for your time.

The RISC OS networking doesn't yet operate on wifi - you would need a wifi-ethernet bridge to plug into the RJ45 socket. I tried several cheap bridges but didn't get them to work consistently (possibly due to their limited range) but have found a Belkin one very effective.
