Can't Install RISCOS: Size of Recovery Partition is too Large

Sun Mar 24, 2019 6:05 pm

I've copied NOOBS across to a 16GB Micro SD on which I had previously been able to install Raspbian using NOOBS, but when I go to install RISCOS on the SD, I get the message "Can't Install RISCOS: Size of Recovery Partition is too Large". I've googled this with no results... anyone know what's going on here?

Following the link from the Raspberry Pi Downloads page to RiscOS at https://www.riscosopen.org/content/down ... spberry-pi
This is RISC OS for the Raspberry Pi. For our official Raspberry Pi release, you might want to take a look at the NOOBS Lite distribution on the Raspberry Pi site.

So I think the maintainers are aware of the conflict with the full 'partially offline' version of the NOOBS Installer.

See the explanation from the PINN Installer developer @procount in this similar recent thread here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=236448

Edit: to acknowledge partial echo of previous reply made while I was researching the RiscOS statement...
