Create SD with Mac OS X

I used a MacBook Pro with 10.8.2 and a built-in SD slot to create a RISCOS SD using the following commands. I erased the SD first, but probably not necessary

$
$ sudo dd if=ro519-rc6-1876M.img of=/dev/disk1 bs=1m
dd: /dev/disk1: Resource busy
$ diskutil umountDisk disk1
Unmount of all volumes on disk1 was successful
$ sudo dd if=ro519-rc6-1876M.img of=/dev/disk1 bs=1m
1876+0 records in
1876+0 records out
1967128576 bytes transferred in 1304.740581 secs (1507678 bytes/sec)
$

Afterwards the About This Mac reports:

No question - just posted successful steps with OS X 10.8.2 - worked like a charm...

For me, it used /dev/disk2s1. I used the 'df' command to see the different mounted filesystems. Otherwise, lots of help. Thanks!

thank you thank you... i was struggling with "permission denied" and "resource busy" until coming across your commands
