I don't think it's a case of people not being interested. More a case of being too concerned with getting the initial teething troubles sorted and an updated release out of the door. There are only a small number of developers, most of whom are not directly connected to ROOL, so you are dependent on their good will, if you are not up to ploughing into the sources yourself.Vanfanel wrote: There's something wrong with Risc OS on the Pi regarding double buffering and/or vsync! If it'd be Linux, I could somehow tweak backend libraries, etc, but I'm totally lost with this (otherwise AWESOME) OS inner workings.
Grauniad kind of works, but it's a bit hit and miss sometimes at reading the keypresses. May have to try some of the others. Again, purely in the interests of research. I won't enjoy it. At all.ukscone wrote:great you try any of the other things on that page?

This is Chuckie Egg comming home, man.
It's like, it's like, like moving turf from the old to the new Wembly Stadium, like Eric Clapton playing the Albert Hall or like Roast Chicken on a Sunday.
Not sure about running them natively. You can run them with the Fuse Spectrum emulator available at http://www.riscos.info/packages/Section ... .html#Fuse. If you're using the official distro you can get it using !PackMan.For a more important subject, does a RiscOS port of Manic miner and/or Jet Set Willy exist (blasphemous I know )
