AMCOG Games are please to announce that Mop Tops for RISC OS on the Raspberry Pi is available from the !Store on RISC OS...
This game was first released in October 2016 and is at least partly inspired by Lemmings.
A video of the game running on a Raspberry PI 2 is available from here:
The game involves saving as many Mop Tops as you can by guiding them to the exit. All Mop Tops must have either exited or died by before the time limit expires. Play involves giving the Mop Tops objects to use or by dropping items on to the screen for the Mop Tops to interact with.
The game includes:
* 16 million colour parallax scrolling in SVGA resolution.
* 30 playable levels.
* 6 original music tracks.
* Sound effects produced by the RDSP virtual sound chip that employ both samples and synthesised sounds.
n.b. This is a recently freely available feature for RISC OS which I have written that enables the BASIC SOUND and ENVELOPE to work. It is currently at beta. The SDK included with this game includes example BASIC programs to create synthesised sounds.
Updates for existing users are free and a new version has been uploaded to the Plingstore (http://www.plingstore.org.uk/cgi-bin/pl ... e/home.cgi).
Mop Tops costs 9.99 uk pounds. It is an arcade puzzle game for RISC OS 4 and 5 machines including Raspberry Pi, Beagleboard, Pandaboard, ARMX6, RPCEmu and Virtual Acorn.
