Using FLIRC with RISCOS

Tue Jan 17, 2017 12:57 pm

Bought a FLIRC USB device to interface with my RISCOS Pi model B. This is 'supposed' to appear as a USB keyboard to the computer. It does with other OS but with RISCOS - zilch. :(

The device is recognised by RISCOS using *USBdevices. *USBdevinfo and *USBconfinfo both report apparently sensible information, the latter command indicating that it is a HID.

Has anyone had any success with getting this to work or is it up to me to work from first principles? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yes I did, thanks.

I managed to get the device to be recognised by RISCOS by opening FLIRC as a USB device file but so far I have had no success at getting any input from it.
