That article is about an issue with an ArchLinux repository.
ArchLinuxArm is a different distribution and uses different repositories. It is based on ArchLinux but NOT ArchLinux even though we refer to it that way although not being technically correct.
But we all should still be careful about what we install, no matter what the source. That is true. Linux is not bulletproof, although certainly not targeted as much as other OS.
