fruitoftheloom: that link is down, what is the page about?

Digital: I honestly do not think there is any quick and easy way to install a desktop enviroment in Arch, they all require installing many packages, along with setting up configuration files. If you have selected xfce, then see the archlinux wiki page about it:

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xfce

Unfortunately, the above page does not go into great detail about the installation itself. There are a few webpages out there that outline the steps for installation in more detail, what have you done that did not work? Did you get any error messages?

The arch wiki sucks because of the way its written to be more complicated than it needs to be. My suggestion is to install lxde as your gui.

To Install LXDE
pacman -S xorg
pacman -S xterm xorg-xclock xorg-twm xorg-xinit xorg-server-utils
pacman -S lxdm
pacman -s lxde
Enable LXDM serivces
systemctl enable lxdm.service
reboot

Manjaro is pretty nice, but there is no arm build for it.

I stand corrected, DistroWatch needs updating.
