Hard Float Support

Wed Jul 11, 2012 11:27 am

Would it be possible to build an Arch distribution that used Hard Float support and/or optimised the binaries for ARMv6?

Things are happening on this front.
New build system is being built, $1500 spent on this, plus need some rpi to test on and to give enthusiasm.
No one gets paid at alarm, a dig into our own pockets was required, plus we pay for our rpi.

Sounds great, but I'm only just graduating. Is there anything I can do which doesn't include donating?

Well, donation note was for everyones eyes.
Now let me see, can you write the accelerated xorg driver? That would be a start.

Hmmm, nope. Happy to test/make images if needed. Might be able to fix build bugs here and there.

I don't see when, or how much is donated, but am sure they will be grateful no matter how much is put in.
Thanks from me anyway.

Only 10$ but the more people...
With such a low priced device there should be some money left to donate. ;)
