Puppy, sound and networking when you can't see the GUI
Hello. I am trying to get Puppy up and running on a Pi. The image I am using is 6.5.105, which I think is the latest. The problem is I am blind so I cannot use the GUI. I can mount the SD card in another Linux machine and add files to the directory tree but don't know at the moment how to get DHCP working so that eth0 is issued with an IP address. I also need to be able to get SSH to work so I can connect to it from another PC running a screen-reader. Is sound working on this image? I want to try to get the SpeakUp console-mode screen-reader going by compiling new kernel and/or modules for it. Any help with Puppy networfk settings would be appr3eciated

There is a guide on the Arch Linux wiki which may be helpful. Here is a link.
