Pidora 20: unable to open /dev/net/tun

Sun Feb 08, 2015 2:27 am

I just installed the version of Pidora today from raspberrypi.org, I believe it was Pidora 20 R3. I'm trying to get JNOS up and running on the OS and it installs fine but when I try and open the program, the logs throw an error "unable to open /dev/net/tun". When I try to figure out why, it looks like /dev/net doesn't even exist in this version. I tried updating to a newer kernel from https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j4m16akm7dev7c6/AbzVVFacDY and when I follow the instructions to untar the file, I get the error "xz: (stdin): File format not recognized".

Can someone help me figure out where I can get the tun module for 20R3?

uname -r: 3.12.26-1.20140808git4ab8abb.rpfr20.armv6hl.bcm2708

Thank you,

Adam

Hi there-
Did you ever get JNOS running? I just installed Pidora on a B+ and will be attempting JNOS install later today. Thx-
