Where is the /etc/sysconfig/networking directory?

Tue Jun 18, 2013 12:56 am

Hi, I can't seem to find this directory in Pidora. Does anybody know where to find it?

its now all included in /etc/sysconfig/network and /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts according to NetworkManager, which is installed by default.

Crap, I wish I hadn't erased my Pidora after failing to get VNC working.

Fedora is closer to Redhat/CentOS right? If that's the case, there should have been something in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts ... like a ifcfg-eth0 file or something. Otherwise you can try just booting to the desktop (init 5, if it's like CentOS) and looking for some control panel tool.

or maybe just search for files under /etc/ that contain your ethernet mac address.

Return to “Pidora / Fedora”
