Unable to install 'yum-utils' on CentOS 7.5 due to libxml2 version mismatch

Sun Sep 09, 2018 8:14 pm

I'm not sure how to resolve, but every time I try to install 'yum-utils' on my CentOS Pi, I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

[[email protected] yum.repos.d]# yum install yum-utils
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile

There are unfinished transactions remaining. You might consider running yum-complete-transaction, or "yum-complete-transaction --cleanup-only" and "yum history redo last", first to finish them. If those don't work you'll have to try removing/installing packages by hand (maybe package-cleanup can help).
The program yum-complete-transaction is found in the yum-utils package.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Return to “Pidora / Fedora”
