Hello,
My Pi isn't due for a couple of weeks but I have been making preparations for its arrival with finding bits of hardware I have lying around and now I've got onto the SD card.
Ive prepared my card using the debian download and the windows image tool Its an 8gb card. But if I understand things correctly, the Linux image is a 2GB install so i think I have 'wasted space' some 6GB of it. I understand its possible to enlarge the partitions but which partition should i enlarge to use the 6GB unused space? I'm guessing its the DISK1S2 partition, but I could be wrong.
The partitions are as follows:
No name - 78.6mb
DISK1S2 - 1.62gb
LINUX SWAP - 200.03mb
Remainder - 6.14gb
Thanks for any help.

Re: Debian default partition
You are right. The first (no-name) is intended as /boot and contains a RPi specific firmware and kernel. Enlarging the swap also isn't very useful. Enlarging DISK1S2 is the way to go!

Re: Debian default partition
Thanks Spider,
There are many ways to do it as far as i can tell, plus a couple of YouTube's covering different ideas.
I just need to get the thing then I can start learning it.
