So I've seen Fritzing mentioned and used in the MagPi and other places.
A quick search in Add/Remove Software and I've found two packages and installed them.
Now it's an old version and tells me there is a lovely new update with a lot of Pi revisions.
Unfortunately there is no up to date Pi program, all this old version has it the original Pi, pre + and that doesn't even work, the A errors out so I closed it.
So is this another of those Debian controls it problems that keeps being encountered, can RaspberryPi do anything about that and maintain an up to date version we can use in schools (and add it in the pixel menu as an option).
It looks like it has the potential to be useful, but not in its current form.
Especially when the kids see them in the MagPi etc and like the idea, a search of the forum show Fritzing mentioned but nothing about installing. At least within the past year (which is the release window of the newest version)
