Hello,
I work at Anthemion Software, Edinburgh, and I thought you might like to know that we have made our ebook editor available for free on the Raspberry Pi 2. You can import Word, ODT and Epub files, or write a book from scratch. Jutoh creates Epub 2/3, Kindle (via Calibre on the Pi), ODT and HTML files, and you can add pictures, tables, footnotes, tables of contents, bibliographies, alphabetical indexes and more.
There is support for HTML5/Epub 3 forms so the intrepid can add forms and JavaScript to create interactive Epub 3 books. If targeting Epub 3 or fixed-layout iBooks, you can add audio narration with help from Audacity.
You can download Jutoh here:
http://www.jutoh.com/download.htm
It's available in DEB and RPM forms, in addition to a plain tarball with an installation script.
I hope this is a useful addition to the amazing range of things you can do with a Pi.

I'll say up front: I don't know.tkerwel wrote:the prozess always stopp with the running message in the installation window. what could be the problem ?
But my hint is that this is a specialised piece of software and it is likely that few forum readers will have experience of it. Julian, the person who posted the advert, has not logged on to the forums for 8 months, so is unlikely to reply.
Contacting Anthemion Software Ltd.directly via the details on their website seems the best route to knowledgeable advice.
