Unable to load libmariadbclient18 for MotionEYE install

Sat May 11, 2019 11:09 am

I am trying to load MotionEye on Raspian I3 inorder to support the Alfa AWUS036NH external WIFI adapter. (Wanting to connect to a distant router for a security camera). This adapter works well with Raspian (must already have the correct drivers) but I cannot get it to work using native MotionEye. I understand that the native MotionEye does not support external WIFI drivers and I am not able to load the driver for it.

In trying to install MotionEye onto the working Raspbian I am getting the following errors when I try and load libmariadbclient18 & libpq5.

These errors vary depending at what point or how many times I submit my request and if I have done "apt-get update".

[email protected]:~# apt-get install libmariadbclient18 libpq5
The error is: Failed to fetch ... _armhf.deb 404 Not Found [IP: 2a00:1098:0:80:1000:75:0:3 80]

In looking at the FTP site I only find a 10.1.38 and not the 10.10.37.
It appears the version requested has been updated. I have done the
apt-get update several times so am lost to how to resolve this.

[email protected]:~# apt-get install libmariadbclient18 libpq5

You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libmariadbclient18 : Depends: mysql-common but it is not going to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Possibly the mirror you are using hasn't been fully synchronised with the rest of the network yet. I suggest you leave it a few hours (at least), then do another sudo apt update and then try again.
