Re: Raspberry Pi For Education User Guide

I would like to help with creating the Education User Guide being written for the Educational release of the RPi later this year.  I am a long time Python / Debian user and software engineer (10 years+).  I am happy to do anything I can - proof read the guide, write a section or just give general feedback.  After all, I would like to see my name hidden away somewhere in the guide which will hopefully launch the interest of the next generation of developers.

Is there an official guide being released? I have to say I'm not entirely clear on whether there's going to be any official resources made for the R-Pi. I thought there was going to be a kind of dependence on community generated resources.

I believe Computing At School are the people writing the manual. That link will get you to the page about joining them.

For the geeks, misfits, teachers, parents and those re-writing the manual I am creating Puppy Hacker School

Our school motto might be"time longer than rope" or possibly
"Lef mi Nuh" (which I believe is a sort of Latin)

Good luck to CAS
