Updating piServer for RPi 4 network boot capacity

Dear all,

I've just seen the boot loader firmware for RPi 4 has been beta released to support network boot.

Update procedure is as usual described on GitHub https://github.com/raspberrypi/rpi-eepr ... ot_beta.md

Nevertheless, I'm just thinking about the procedure to apply on the piServer, since my server is running on a VM instance, and not on a RPi.

Has anyone tested so far?

You will have to run the procedure prescribed on each Pi once, to enable network boot.
Regardless on what your Pisever runs...

Just coming back on that topic.

Has someone already tested RPi 4 network boot capability with piServer ?

I did update the firmware, but so far no way to get it working.

Piserver does detect that the Pi 4 is network booting?
As in it does appear in the "add clients" window?

Also make sure you have recent firmware files on the operating system you are trying to boot (may need to go to tab "software" -> start "shell" -> and run rpi-update)
