Using Pi's for 3D printing?

Thu Jun 02, 2016 12:16 pm

Has anyone successfully done this? We have an Ultimaker 2, and I'm thinking we can use something like TinkerCad, save files onto a micro SD card, then sneakernet it over to the printer.

Or is there a better way?

This post is 2 years old, but I figure to anyone else looking to do the same thing it would be good to mention OctoPi and OctoPrint (http://octoprint.org).
