Fri Dec 08, 2017 9:21 pm

Hey guy I'm an app developer (I know how to code) and I'm looking for iot project (turn lights on and off from my phone or security camera for start) but I will also need something that actually explains the hardware part (soldering, power suplly, breadboard, how to connect all, etc..)

There are of cource a lot of IoT projects that don't really need any soldering or extra wireing, it all depends on the sensors and equipment you want to integrate. You have USB, WiFI and BLE as alternative communication methods.

- There is a lot of resources on the official pages: https://projects.raspberrypi.org/en/pro ... 0computing
- You also have all the articles in MagPi: https://www.raspberrypi.org/magpi/
- Then you also have schools which publish their training material: https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/projects/raspb ... tutorials/
