Logitech MK270 wireless desktop

Sun Jul 28, 2013 9:22 am

Hi everyone, has anyone had any experience using the Logitech MK270 wireless desktop on raspbian or any other OS distribution for that matter? Searched on these forums and the verified peripherals page but could not see any mention of whether it is working or not.

Thanks for any help

Works fine on my pi. Mine is UK model. I had to do this in Raspbian LXDE to make the @ # £ etc keys work properly:
In LXTerminal

Code: Select all

sudo raspi-config

Internationalisation Options > Locale: en_GB.UTF-8 UTF-8
>Keyboard layout model: Generic 105-key (Intl) PC
layout: English (UK)

then in LXTerminal
in home directory (eg /home/pi)

Code: Select all

sudo nano .xsessionrc
put the line:

Code: Select all

setxkbmap gb
CTRL+X, then y, ENTER to save

Code: Select all

sudo reboot

The eight hot keys on the very top row don't seem to do anything in Raspbian
The media keys (play/pause, mute, volume down, volume up) work in Raspbmc

Thank you very much for confirming. The Logitech MK270 seems an ideal keyboard and mouse combo for the Pi. I'll order the same for myself and my daughter. We both have a model B, but it would be nice if someone could confirm using it with the model A also well as a reference for the community.
