LCD Touch Display

Wed Feb 07, 2018 10:57 am

Hi,

i am looking for a 5" (capacitive) touch display for the raspberry pi 3.
I realy like the 7" from raspberry but it is a little bit to big for my protject.

There are two more needs.
One is that the display has a glass front like the 7", becouse of the protection category (water).
and the other one is that the display also been connected via DSI.

i tryed out the 5" from JOY-IT but it is not realy sharp, has no DSI Connection and at last the touch
accuracy is not the best in my opinion

The official RPF 7" screen is the only screen that can be used with the RPi DISPLAY (DSI) port.
Unless specified otherwise my response is based on the latest and fully updated Raspbian Stretch w/ Desktop OS.
