Looking for an extremely small fan

Thu Dec 28, 2017 12:13 am

I have an Rpi3 which I got from Canakit, I'm using the case they provided is there an extremely small fan that'll fit inside the case? With the heatsinks and my normal use case the device runs at 53 degrees C. A fan would still be nice if at all possible.

53°C is not anything to worry about. No need for a fan unless it hits 80 continuously.

I'm not sure why people keep worrying about these temperatures. Most PCs run in that sort of range and higher anyway. I just checked my laptop and the fans start running slowly if it hits 80°C and then gradually speed up. Its maximum CPU temperature is 127°C, much hotter than the Pi gets.

I am not familiar with that case but this might do the job ...

Spending longer than I did on a Google search will probably turn up other options.
