Looking to put together a Raspberry Pi + TV or Monitor for my kitchen.

I was thinking of just going with a 32 Inch TV but my main question is should I go with a 720p or true 1080p TV.
Looking for some recommendations.

Mainly for streaming Plex/ Kodi/ Netflix.

Wasn't sure where to post this, so hopefully this is sufficient.
Thanks,

I admit I'm new to the forum and raspberry pi, but I think it really depends on how close you will be to the screen. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-siz ... lationship has a nice chart for viewing distance-screen dimensions-resolution. I think 720p would be fine, especially if it's casual TV watching. You would see some benefit if you got 1080p though.
