PoE spliters - the TP-Link one is good

Tue Jul 12, 2016 1:38 pm

I've tried out a couple of splitters, the TP-Link one http://www.tp-link.com/en/products/deta ... OE10R.html and a gash one from amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0108TD78Y/. The TP-Link one is slightly more efficient, and supports Gigabit, as well as having switchable output voltage, and it is cheaper! Even Maplin's sell them at £10. You will need a smaaaalll adapter for the TP-Link one though to get to micro usb.

The TPLink PoE Kit is even better value, and with the cables around £20.00

If you need the injector as well as the splitter then it's excellent value. as for getting from barrel to micro usb I think this would be better than a cable (if it will fit - it will stick out quite a way.
