Minix Neo M1 remote support? [solved]

Fri Feb 06, 2015 9:27 am

Is there any support (drivers) for the Minix M1 remote control on the Raspberry PI? This is a great RF remote with a separate RF USB receiver.

According to the following link it should support Linux: Minix Neo M1
But has anyone have it running on the Raspberry Pi?

Initially I'm looking for the basic functionality of the remote and not the gyro mouse feature.

Despite no answers here, I finally received my raspberry pi and succesfully tested the RF Minix M1 remote controller :-)
I installed the latest Kodi mediaplayer and it worked out-of-the-box, no need for installing any additional drivers. Even the (gyro)mouse functionality works great :D

Did you ever get the remote fully configured?

I noticed that the 'back' button the mouse acts like home button, very annoying when you're deep inside a menu and only want to go back one step  and the title button (top left) seems to just work the same.

Can you configure the power button, or does that only work for IR??

I find myself whipping my phone out most of the time seems quicker but would be nice to get the remote fully working.

Is it possible to pair Horizon UPC remote device which is RF. Problem is that my RF receiver is on Horizon box. :)
