I am very interested in your Tiny Toslink for my Raspberry ft 2.
It is possible to make a sending in Belgium?
How do you sell it with the cost of delivery?

This is the only missing part to really enjoy pi as media center, since my tv won't do DTS passthrough and my archaic Home Theater system don't have HDMI either.

Hi Jörg. I too found out only after getting my Pi 2 that my TV wouldn't pass along the digital audio. I'm really hoping you'll make some more of these. I couldn't figure out how to send you a PM so I'm hoping this will do to express my interest.

I'd offer to help you out with building these boards but I've never had any luck at soldering the small stuff. Maybe with practice, eh?

I'm aware of the Digi+, but I think this thing here is a much better solution. Very very neat, well done. Actually I've just registered for this (and thus apparently can't PM you yet)...
I'd really like one for myself or could even build a batch given the layout if need be.

While waiting I ended up purchasing a "hifi digi+" from pi52 (more cost effective than an hifiberry).
You can find it on ebay or aliexpress.
It includes optical and coax ports + an infrared receiver.
I have only used the optical port so far which works great.
The setup for the SPDIF port is identical to the instructions on the hifiberry site.

Long term I am still wanting to get a TinyToslink due to the smaller footprint (dont like the cases that fit the board so running it without the case lid installed for now).

I have not given up, but indeed was busy with other things. Sorry that I was not responsive to some extent, I rather wanted to give final information.

The new batch of hardware is manufactured and has arrived. To be honest I have them since 2 weeks, but am too slow working on a suitable "fulfilment infrastructure" to make things easier on my end. So far it took like.5 emails/PMs per individual person and board, something I can't handle any more. Even though most people were really nice...
The current idea is to use a google form for orders, so I'll get your information in a table already. I've seen somebody else organizing a group buy this way. Unfortunately a form is static, unless you're a java script expert. I wish it could calculate a price or things like this.
I have bought a batch of cushioned envelopes, would like to get a label printer, but don't know which model, there are so many.

In summary, don't worry, I'll post a link soon. If somebody can help meanwhile, please do so.

Many thanks, we have a fruitful conversation meanwhile, on how to set this up. The current idea is to use wordpress instead of a google form, it seems to have useful plugins.
Also, I've chosen a Brother P-touch QL-720NW for a label printer, it arrived yesterday.

I'm so glad I found this thread and great job Jörg! I was looking for this after decommissioning my old laptop which had optical output. The Hifiberry one is nice but doesn't fit standard box.
