Gertboard standalone

Tue Aug 13, 2013 4:40 am

If i put code onto the atmega on the gertboard via the rpi and have certain other devices powered and doing things totally in control of the gertboard, can i unplug the gertboard from the rpi and just deliver power to the gerboard and things should work fine? I'm assuimng the answer is yes, so I guess the real question is, what ist he easiest way to send power to the gertboard...i'd prefer to send it 5v power.

You can send the power over the connector at the bottom or use the jumper marked as 5V at the top.
